Why This Is Different
Not a Headcount. A Reckoning.
A tour shows you a place. This puts you inside it — with the people who keep this culture alive.
A Travel Group
  • Counts heads, not names
  • A clipboard of sights to tick off
  • A guide reads dates off a script
  • Watches from behind the rope
  • Takes the photo and moves on
  • Sends you home with souvenirs
This Journey
  • You're known by name — and so are the people we meet
  • A guide who lived here seven years opens doors money can't
  • Sits at the table, in the home, at the loom
  • Invites deep connection to self, others, culture, and Peru
  • Sends you home changed

How We Travel
Four Connections, Every Day
Self
The journey inward — space to listen to what you already know.
Others
The people we meet on the journey and those who keep this culture alive — met as equals, not subjects.
Culture
Entered with reverence, not rescue. We are guests.
Planet
The ground beneath every step. We do not extract. We partner.

In Peru, our journey directly supports the Quechua weavers, master artisans, and the apprentices carrying their ancestors' craft into a global market. We also support indigenous entrepreneurs and communities in Guatemala, Tanzania, Thailand, and India.
From charity to justice. From rescue to relationship.
"My husband and I have traveled the world, literally, and this journey with Luciana was nothing like we've ever experienced. The access she has — to people, to places, to the culture — is extraordinary. We came home different."

Before & After

Lima · Pre or Post-Journey
Oct 26–28
A coastal beginning before the mountains. Wander the clifftop parks of Miraflores above the Pacific, explore the colonial plazas and catacombs of the old city, and taste why Lima is one of the world's culinary capitals. Ease into Peruvian culture at sea level — before you ever climb toward Cusco.

Paracas, Ballestas, Huacachina & Nazca Lines · Pre-Journey
Oct 24–28 · Highly Recommended
Start where Peru meets the Pacific. Skim the Ballestas Islands past sea lions and penguins, sandboard the dunes of the Huacachina oasis, and fly low over the two-thousand-year-old Nazca Lines. The gentlest way into Peru — at sea level, before you climb toward Cusco.
Arequipa & Colca Canyon · Pre or Post-Journey
Oct 25–28 or November 8-11
Rise into the White City, beneath three volcanoes. Wander the sillar-stone cloisters of Arequipa's Santa Catalina Monastery, then climb to the rim of the Colca Canyon — twice the depth of the Grand Canyon — and watch Andean condors ride the morning thermals on three-meter wings.
The Amazon Jungle · Post-Journey
Nov 8–11 · Extra night in Cusco needed Nov 8
Descend from the Andes into the living Amazon. Drift the oxbow lakes of Manu National Park past giant otters and caimans, watch macaws set the clay licks ablaze at dawn, and trail monkeys through one of the most biodiverse forests on Earth.
Lake Titicaca · Post-Journey
Nov 8–10
Sail the highest navigable lake on Earth to its floating reed islands and a homestay with a Quechua family. This is the summit chapter — thin air, impossible color, and the apus the Andes have honored for a thousand years.
Rainbow Mountain & Ausangate · Post-Journey
Nov 8-11 · Extra night in Cusco needed Nov. 8
Trek beneath the glaciers of Ausangate — the 6,384-meter apu the Quechua still honor — past turquoise lakes and grazing alpaca to the mineral-striped ridge of Rainbow Mountain at 5,000 meters. Thin air, impossible color, and the Red Valley burning crimson beyond.
Come Home Different.
"The La Paz International Foundation funds and leads projects that restore dignity, build economic independence, and create beauty in communities that have been overlooked. This is not charity. It is partnership — built on the belief that when people are given the tools to create, they transform not just their circumstances, but themselves."
